If Vanessa Hudgens is upset about her split from Zac Efron, she did a good job of acting just fine about it as she celebrated her 22nd birthday in Las Vegas Saturday night.

Accompanied by a gaggle of girlfriends, including Brittany Snow and Ashley Tisdale, Vanessa was all smiles and sexy in a skintight silver dress.

But when asked about Zac specifically on the red carpet at Pure nightclub, Vanessa said...



"We're good," giving reporters the thumbs-up. Guess they really have remained friends.

Inside the club at Caesar's Palace, the birthday girl recieved a three-foot-tall red velvet cake before drawing the curtains at her VIP table for privacy.

"The girls were taking shots, drinking champagne, cocktails and Red Bull," a source says. "Vanessa took off her shoes, jumped on top of the furntiure and had a dance off with Ashley!"

According to an onlooker, she did take a breather when Mario's "Break Up" came on, but quickly got back up when the deejay played Jay-Z's "On to the Next One."

So clearly, Vanessa doesn't want to celebrate her split from Zac after five years of dating, but she's ready to move on to a new guy.

Either that, or she likes jamming to Jay-Z more than Mario. You decide!

For the first time since her meltdown nearly two months ago, the troubled Disney star has finally surfaced in public from her treatment for "personal issues."

So what's she been up to?

According to National Photo Group, which snapped the pics, the 18-year-old Lovato stepped out for a trip to Chicago's Hollywood Blvd Cinema, Bar & Eatery, an upscale movie theater touting a "full-to-your-seat food and beverage service."

The Sonny With a Chance actress was spotted in a parking lot accompanied by her family and sporting dark shades, a leopard print coat, black clothing and black boot, dark nail polish and lipstick, and holding what appeared to be a cup of tea or coffee.

The excursion comes just a few days after she reached an undisclosed settlement with a Jonas Brothers dancer. It was the altercation between Lovato and the dancer, Alex "Shorty" Welch, that precipitated the trip to treatment.

She was reportedly given a holiday weekend pass from the Illinois facility where she is being treated for "emotional and physical issues."

For her sake, lets hope she stayed away from Black Swan.

Disney's Lovato quits tour, enters treatment

NEW YORK – Demi Lovato, one of Disney's biggest names, checked herself into a treatment center to deal with "emotional and physical issues," her representatives said in a statement Monday night.

The statement did not specify the 18-year-old's problems, but said Lovato checked herself into a facility to address the concerns.

A person familiar with the situation previously told The Associated Press that Lovato entered treatment for problems including an eating disorder and cutting herself. The person, speaking on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly due to the sensitivity of the matter, later clarified the statement, saying Lovato had dealt with those issues in the past.

Lovato, who is star of Disney's "Camp Rock" movies and the sitcom "Sonny With a Chance," was on an international tour as a special guest of the Jonas Brothers, but left the tour over the weekend to enter an undisclosed facility, according to the statement.

"Demi has decided to take personal responsibility for her actions and seek help," the statement said. "She is doing just that. Demi and her family ask that the media respect her privacy during this difficult time."

In a 2009 interview with The Associated Press, Lovato, who has also released several records, said she had to leave middle school at one point because she was bullied so badly.

"It was more verbal harassment than physical abuse, but that's actually more scarring than anything," she said. "And I had to leave because I just couldn't deal with it. And I've home-schooled ever since."

Lovato was linked earlier this year to Joe Jonas, her "Camp Rock" co-star, but the two later broke up and said they remained friends.

Her rep said Lovato regretted not finishing the tour but "is looking forward to getting back to work in the near future."
